T25  Anti-Tank Gun

This Model T25 90mm Anti-Tank is located by the Field House  on the campus of North Dakota State University. Presented by the Vet's Club of the NDSC on Veterans Day, 1958. The American 90mm family of guns served as primary heavy anti-aircraft and anti-tank guns, similar to the renowned German 88mm gun. They were the US's primary anti-aircraft .They were the US's primary anti-aircraft guns from just prior to the opening of World War II into the 1950s when most AAA was replaced by missile systems. As a tank gun,the"T-8 was the weapon featured on the 90mm Gun Motor Carriage M36 and Heavy Lank M26 Pershing, as well as a number of post war tanks.
